Upcoming Vestry Elections

Our next Vestry election is Fall 2025.

Our next Vestry nominee is Bryan Friesen. We will officially vote Bryan onto our Vestry at our annual meeting on October 19 after our worship service. Per our bylaws, the time prior to our meeting marks the start of a 30-day review period.

If you have any concerns regarding a vestry nominee, email Michael+. Our new vestry member will begin his term starting in November as Amy G. and Chris S. rotate off of our Vestry. Get to know Bryan below.

Bryan was born in Japan and grew up there until he graduated from high school. For 17 years, he and his wife Felicia served in church planting and mission mobilization in the Philippines with SEND International. They returned to the States in 2006 with an assignment under Wycliffe Bible Translators where he was the training director for JAARS in Waxhaw, NC. In June 2024, the Friesens moved to western NC. Bryan is retired while Felicia still works part time as a mental health therapist. In this season of life, Bryan seeks to focus less on his own performance and activity and more on being part of the beloved family of God and experiencing life as it flows out of Jesus' performance (John 15:4, 5).
