iPsalm 23

Here is the poem shared during last Sunday's sermon which highlights the true antithesis of our digital lives versus Psalm 23. Written by Pastor Owen.
It maketh me to lie down only when it is charging then begs for my attention when I should be asleep It pulls me into pools of depression and leads me in paths of frenzy for Amazon’s sake I constantly pull it out of my pocket for no reason It houndeth my soul
Yea, even though I walk frantically from post to post and text to text, I will never catch up, for endless scrolling is ever with me My need for likes drives me to post family pictures for social capital I remember not what life was like before 2007 My… precious.
Interweb searches and newsfeeds anoint my head with worry My vast knowledge of memes and what’s on Netflix overflows. Surely fatigue and phantom phone vibrations shall follow me all the days of my life, And I will dwell in the house of anxiety forever.
